Profile & Preferences
Personal account settings — profile, preferences, default filters, and account deletion.
Your account settings are personal: they apply to you across every organization you're a member of. Don't confuse them with organization settings, which apply to a single organization.
Where to find them
Click your avatar in the dashboard header → Account settings, or navigate to Settings → Account.
Settings · Account
Personal settings — applies across every organization you belong to.
Profile
The Profile tab covers identity and preferences.
Personal details
- Name
Shown on team members lists, contact activity attributions, and audit logs. Pick the name your colleagues recognize.
- Profile image
Drag-and-drop to upload. Used as your avatar in the header and team list. Square, 256+ pixels recommended.
Used for sign-in. To change, you'll need to verify the new address — see Security & 2FA.
- Phone
Optional. Used for SMS notifications if your org has them enabled.
- Time zone
Affects timestamps shown in the dashboard. The organization time zone (separately configured) controls when scheduled jobs and automations run.
Preferences
Preferences tune how the dashboard behaves day-to-day.
| Preference | Effect |
|---|---|
| Default contact statuses | Which statuses are checked by default on the Contacts list. Most teams set this to ACTIVE only. |
| Default release stages | Which stages show up by default on Releases. Common: DRAFT and PENDING (excludes COMPLETED noise). |
| Theme | Light or dark. Doesn't affect anyone else. |
| Compact tables | Tighter row spacing. Good for dense screens. |
| Show keyboard shortcuts | Adds a help overlay reachable via ?. |
Keyboard shortcuts
A short list of the most useful, available everywhere in the dashboard:
| Shortcut | Action |
|---|---|
| ⌘K | Open command palette (jump to any page). |
| ? | Show shortcut overlay. |
| g | Go-to prefix — followed by a letter, jumps to a section (gc = Contacts, gr = Releases, etc.). |
| n | New (context-aware: on Contacts, opens Add Contact modal). |
| / | Focus the search box on the current page. |
Notifications
The Notifications tab controls which OnCloudWine emails reach you.
- Marketing emails
Product updates, feature announcements, tips. Off-by-default.
- Transactional emails
Account-related: security alerts, invitations, billing receipts. Cannot be turned off entirely (security alerts will always send).
- Job summaries
Daily/weekly digest of background job results — releases processed, sync failures, etc. Useful if you want a written record without monitoring activity logs daily.
Danger zone
The bottom of the Profile tab has a danger zone for destructive account-level actions.
Deleting your account removes you from every organization, revokes every session, and deletes your personal data after a 30-day grace period. Organizations you owned are not deleted automatically — transfer ownership first.
Deleting your account
Transfer or leave organizations
For organizations where you're the only Admin, transfer ownership to another Admin or delete the organization first. The dashboard prevents you from deleting your account if you'd leave any organization Admin-less.
Confirm by re-entering your password
Account deletion always requires the password (or a 2FA code if 2FA is enabled), even if you signed in via OAuth.
Confirm a second time via email
A confirmation link is sent to your email address. Clicking it triggers the actual deletion. The link is single-use and expires in 24 hours.
Wait 30 days
Your account is marked for deletion but recoverable for 30 days. After that, all personal data is purged.
