Packing Lists
Generate, print, and use the packing list for a release — including modifications and pickup-only contacts.
The packing list is the printable view of who's getting what. It's organized to make warehouse work efficient: grouped by product, then by member, with modifications already applied so you don't have to think about overrides.
Where to find it
The packing list lives at a dedicated URL on each release. From the release detail page, click Packing List in the action bar — it opens in a new tab pre-formatted for printing.
Packing List — Spring 2026 Reds
128 fulfillments · 384 bottles total
| Product | Total Qty | Members |
|---|---|---|
| 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon | 256 | 128 |
| 2023 Pinot Noir | 128 | 128 |
| 2021 Reserve Cabernet (modifications) | 4 | 2 |
Two views
The default view. Lists each product with the total number of bottles needed, then drills into which members get which quantities. Optimized for the picking phase.
Filters
The toolbar lets you scope the printable list:
- Method
Show only shipping or only pickup. Useful when your warehouse and tasting-room teams handle each separately.
- Status
Pre-pack only fulfillments whose payment is COMPLETED. Default is to include all PROCESSING and COMPLETED payments.
- Tags
Filter to specific tagged contacts (e.g., "Local Pickup" only).
Modifications and the packing list
Per-contact modifications are applied automatically. If Casey Lee swapped their Cab for a Pinot, the packing list shows them in the Pinot section, not the Cab section. Removed products simply don't appear for that member.
Default package dimensions come from your shipping settings. If a member's modifications change the bottle count, the packing list flags them so you can use a different box.
Printing
The page is print-stylesheet aware. Use your browser's Print dialog (or ⌘P / Ctrl P) and pick "Save as PDF" for archival, or print directly.
Each fulfillment includes:
- Member name, shipping address, contact phone
- Product list with quantities
- A QR code linking to the fulfillment in the dashboard (scan it from your phone to mark shipped on the move)
- Any "needs ID" or "fragile" flags from the contact tags
Marking shipped
After packing, transition fulfillments to SHIPPED:
From the dashboard
Open the fulfillment, click Create shipment, and enter (or generate) the tracking number. The fulfillment status moves to SHIPPED.
From the packing list QR
Scan the QR code on the printout — it deep-links to the fulfillment so you can mark it shipped from your phone in seconds.
Bulk shipment generation
For releases shipping with FedEx, use Bulk Shipments to generate every label in one click.
Pickup-only releases
For pickup-only contacts, the packing list shows pickup as the method and pickup tasks appear in your tasting room iPad if you've configured Square locations. Pickups are marked complete when the member checks in or when your team manually confirms.
